He’s been called “an uncommonly honest author” by the Boston Globe, a “marketing guru” by The Wall Street Journal and a “sales guru” by the Financial Times.
He also the author of six books including the ground-breaking Book Yourself Solid, the New York Times bestseller, The Think Big Manifesto and his smokin’ hot new release, Steal The Show.
As if that’s not enough, he’s also a professional actor with stints on shows such as Sex & The City, Law & Order, Third Watch, and All My Children and roles in the films The Pelican Brief and Down to Earth.
In this episode we are Reinventing Public Speaking with none other than Michael Port.
Michael says, “every interaction is a performance, and much of our success hinges on whether we’re able to engage and inspire.”
We’ll learn exactly what that means and bear witness to Michael’s performance prowess in action… LIVE!
As someone who taught traditional presentation skills for years, I can only say, amen. Michael knows his stuff. Great interview, nicely done. The only thing I’d add is that as we move more to webinars and virtual communication with our customers and audience, we need to make sure those same skills of connection and authenticity work in the virtual world as well. You’re a good example of how it can work.
