At 32 years old, Pat was a Job Captain in an architecture firm, enjoying his work thoroughly, looking for ways to get promoted, get his architecture license and hopefully earn a raise. Then the economy tanked. Pat knew it was a matter of time before his “number” was called. He was still on payroll for a while, but it was only a matter of time. While he was waiting for the hammer to come down, he spent several months preparing for the inevitable, while also researching how to market online and beginning to implement a strategy, when he realized that he already had a significant response to his current blog.
Instead of ending up in a tailspin like so many do when they get laid off, Pat decided not to look for another job, and to launch his online business full time. It turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him! Success didn’t come to him immediately – it was a year and a half before he brought in his first significant MONTHLY income – $7,906.55!
Tune in to this episode to find out how Pat turned getting laid off into an amazing enterprise that allows him to bring in a HUGE amount of passive income, work from home and have plenty of time for his family in the bargain!
