Danny Iny likes to say he has been an entrepreneur for “longer than his entire adult life”. He quit school at 15 to start his first business, and never looked back. Known now as the “Freddy Krueger of Blogging”, which he earned from his prolific guest posting, he says the road hasn’t been easy, he’s had many setbacks and failures along the way, but that he wouldn’t change any of it. His “title” also was the inspiration behind his critically acclaimed guest posting training, which is called appropriately, “Write Like Freddy”.
Quitting school at 15 didn’t stop Danny. He went on to get an MBA, ran the Montreal Marathon and managed to find and marry the “most wonderful woman in the world”. He’s worked with companies small and large, including Nokia and Google, down to small businesses and business startups. Today he is marketing educator at Firepole Marketing.
He is also the co-author (with Guy Kawasaki, Brian Clark, Mitch Joel, and many others), of a book called Engagement from Scratch! How super-community builders create a loyal audience, and how you can do the same! He also released the free Naked Marketing Manifesto and is currently turning it into a full-fledged book. He also co-authored How to Build a Blog, with Sean Platt.
TUNE IN to hear Danny talk with Steve and Mary about his life, story and how he helps businesses, small and large, build engagement and success for themselves.
