In his youth, Kris “KC” Carter burned the candles at all ends. At only 26 years old, Kris nearly died of stress related issues. That scare put him on a 12 year path of pursuing what he calls “Full-Life Integration™”, the saga of which Kris released as a 75-page multimedia manifesto called “The Framework”.
Along the way Kris began meditating, deepening his practice over the years. In 2011, he read Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual classic, Autobiography of a Yogi, and it changed his life. Two years later after extensive study and practice he took vows as a Kriyaban Yogi.
Kris helped build a Chicago-based start-up Centro from 50 employees to over 650 from 2008-2016. Centro won tons of awards for their legendary workplace culture (#1 Best Place to Work in Crain’s Business Chicago for 4 consecutive years 2011-2014), #1 in Advertising Age (2014) and #1 in Fortune Magazine for mid-sized businesses (2015). KC’s Mission + Values-centric programs have been featured in Business Insider, onstage at Wisdom 2.0, and in countless conferences and podcast interviews.
In January 2016, after a phenomenal month meditating in Encinitas, his guru had bigger plans for his career. He left his corporate salary and career while remodeling a new home and moving his family.
Over the last year Kris has built his client base and business to deliver the work he’s always dreamed of: He’s a culture and meditation advisor for companies and helps teams thrive, and stick together through relentless change.
He also run programs such as “The New Sobriety” (Learn to party harder sans booze) and “Navigating Personal Transformation”. He lives in Akron, OH with his wife and three children.
