Antarctic Mike Pierce

Ever been to Antarctica? I haven’t, but having been through so many brutal Chicago winters, I kinda feel like I can relate to this guest… and, when I heard about his incredible adventures, I knew we had to have him on.

Get this… he’s an avid fan of polar expedition history and is an endurance athlete. He became one of nine (perhaps insane!) people to run the first ever Antarctic Ice Marathon. Then, a year later he became the first American to run the Antarctic 100k, a grueling 62 miles on an ice shelf 600 miles from the South Pole. My only question is WHY??

Tune in to find out as we are Reinventing 90 Below Leadership with San Diego’s own, Antarctic Mike. You’ll be amazed as he share’s his story of training in San Diego for the Antarctic marathon and how he now makes a living leveraging the principles of  Antarctic history.
